Beautiful song Robbie, and very interesting background. Like the connection you point to between Winter Solstice and Christmas, most of the major Christian feast days have connections with pre-Christian festivals.

Great to know that you were inspired by Nowell Sing We Clear. We are all missing John and Tony... You have lots of other good songs, too. I remember an album with lots of funny songs on it.
